Prostitutes are bound to wear reflective vests in Italy

Italian prostitutes will be forced to give up mini-skirts and high-cut blouses in favor of trousers and reflective vests to avoid highway accidents.

Women who practice prostitution every night on a crowded Milan highway risk a fine of 500 Euros if they refuse to wear garments imposed by the authorities.

Officials in Spine dada say prostitutes are causing traffic problems without wearing high visibility vest on the Milan-Cremona route and should be treated as construction workers.

According to The Independent, some 15,000 prostitutes gathered in the Milan region after many tourists came to the area to attend the 2015 Exhibition Fair in Milan.

“Prostitutes should be treated as roadside workers and should be forced to wear reflective clothing to make them more visible,” said Lucian Sonia, vice-mayor of Spin dada. According to him, those who are caught twice without the right clothes will be taken to the police station.
