Motorcycle police recommendations: Beware of the vehicle when cornering and junctions! Most motorcycle accidents are caused by drivers who are not sure when or left lane change
Dear partners of the road, we know that during nice and dry asphalt bring joy in the soul of every lover engines. “To be able to fully enjoy the spring, we, the police, we recommend:
* Use a homologated helmet that meets current safety standards.
* Always wear protective clothing because only this can provide good protection during an accident and protect you from the weather. We advise you to opt for modular equipment, in stature- so it can adapt to changing weather conditions.
* Be visible! Wear bright, reflective! Add extra reflective material or carry a reflective vest. Always keep the lamp lit and run in place where drivers can easily see in the rearview mirror (2/3 of the width of the strip). Avoid blind spots of other vehicles.
* Approach curves moderate speed, without them “cut”! Many accidents happen because of penetration on the opposite.
* Keep eye contact – does not mean I appear. Always try to have eye contact with drivers who may be about to cross your path. Partners predict your way! Even when drivers, cyclists and pedestrians see as you approach, they often misjudge the distance and speed. Do not rely only on their good reaction.
