At the premiere presentation of the new puppeteer at the police station Hamm on Wednesday, David in safety vest from class 2c was welcomed by the 10,000 visitors and at the beginning of the performance was honored with a small surprise.
Since October 2008 the stationary playground has been set up in the factory building of Maximilian Park. The cooperation partners of the prevention stage are the Max Park and the traffic companies of the city of Hamm. The attractive location could contribute to a significant increase in the attractiveness of the method. The municipalities support the stage through a coordinated transport between kindergarten and school to the Maxi Park and back.
The new play has the theme that children are particularly endangered by the start of the dark season when they do not wear reflective clothing. The traffic safety advisors of the Hamm police department designed a doll-piece for the second-graders of the primary schools and for the third-graders of the sponsoring schools.
The performance is deals with the topic “Reflective materials – see and be seen”. The children learn playfully and age-adjusted how important it is to make themselves “sufficiently visible” especially in the “dark” season.
Almost all basic and promotion schools from Hamm have registered for the 25 performances.
