The guards gave people reflective tapes

The Hulking police officers, in cooperation with BESIP, drew attention to the preventive action of the Lodger inhabitant for a valid amendment to the Road Act, according to which pedestrians traveling on the road outside the village should use reflective signs for poor visibility.

As of February 20, it should be a matter of course for pedestrians to use reflective signs for bad visibility. This way they are visibly more visible to the driver.

Panel Rakes, coordinator of BESIP:

“A person, who is not marked by a reflective element, and as usual, is dressed in dark clothes, so the visitor sees him in a low visibility at 18-20 m. This is not even the reaction time.

The reflective tapes that the residents received highlight the pedestrian at 200 meters, so the driver has enough time to react. It is important that the tape is placed on the right foot or hand.

Lummi Prada, City Police Hulking:

“Many people came for the reflective tapes. They took them home, for family members.

Inquiry: inhabitants of Lodger:

“I’m used to wearing it. But I wanted it for my two grandchildren. ”

“I’m sure it’s good because I’m riding a bike.”

If you do not have a reflex tape at hand, try using at least a plastic bag.

Panel Rakes, coordinator of BESIP:

“By the natural movement of my hand when I go, the white plastic bag can highlight the movement and warn the driver.

Stickers, patches, pendants or hand bands are available in haberdashery or bicycle shops. Often, fluorescent fabrics are already sewn into seams of reflective jackets, school bags or backpacks.

Every student has its own reflective vest

Especially with the arrival of spring, there is no better way to go to school except with a nice walk: and so the administration a few days decided to extend one of the Pedi bus lines up in places Cabining, also equipped with reflective safety vest.

The aim is to push the “dragon” (that’s how it is nicknamed the Pedi bus, also thanks to the logo) farther and farther away from the center, in order to limit the radius of action of the school bus only to peripheral areas. In 2008 by the will of the Councilor to education, the service works like a real bus (walk), with its route three lines covering the entire historic center, times, and stops indicated by reflective signs.

During the journey from home to school to have fun with his friends, they exchange the figures, and with the help of the guides (parents, grandparents and other volunteers) will have returned verbs and tables, and you learn to cross the street. All while they are standing in line, each with its own reflective vest, to start the day full of joy, movement and ecology.
