Yellow vests hoist flag in France

The flag of Venezuela was raised in France during the 20th Saturday (March 30) of protest of the yellow vests, against the economic policies of the French president, Emmanuel Macron.

The minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, published this information in his account of the social network Twitter, in which he highlighted the solidarity issued in Paris by this movement “with the heroic resistance of the Venezuelan people to the aggression and the imperialist terror of the United States “.

France has been experiencing a wave of protests from the so-called yellow vests since mid-November 2018.

The protesters, who wear fluorescent reflective vests, protest at first for the rise in fuel prices and related taxes, but then their claims were extended to other social and political demands.

Their multiple demands range from an improvement in purchasing power to greater social and fiscal justice, through a more horizontal democracy or the demand for citizen referendums, refer to international media.

In this day of mobilization held on Saturday, March 30, the government of Emmanuel Macron increased security in places where there are often frequent disturbances between protesters and the police, closing the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe; In addition, surveillance drones were included and, once again, military personnel was used.

In addition, legal sanctions against participants who were arrested during the day were deepened, and police officers were granted greater freedom to suppress demonstrations.

Police officers focused on pedestrian behavior and alcohol among drivers

Pedestrian behavior and compliance with the prohibition of drinking alcohol before driving with drivers. In the past few days, police officers in the Yakut Hora region have focused on these two important points of operation within traffic safety events.

“The actions were based on precautionary measures to ensure road safety and smoothness, in an effort to reduce persistent discipline and the number of road accidents on the roads under alcohol. Since the beginning of this year, Yakut Hora’s traffic police officers have saved ten cases of traffic accidents, when the culprit was affected by an addictive substance, ”said police spokeswoman Vendetta Markov.

The police checked a total of 189 vehicles and imposed 25 fines totaling CZK 6300. For example, it was not wearing a seat belt, not marking a pedestrian with reflective material, or an unsuitable technical condition of the vehicle. In one case, it was driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

For pedestrians, events focus mainly on locations where they are expected to move on roads outside the community. “Reflective vests with reflective tapes are important in low visibility. It is the pedestrian’s visibility that greatly influences whether the driver avoids pedestrians, ”the spokeswoman said.

Overcome the inner bastard

“Humans do not readily accept unpleasant things,” explains Oliver Atoll, Professor of Sport Psychology at the Martin Luther University Battenberg. Because of course, you prefer to move in good weather. With these tips, you can also catch up in the winter – and do healthy sports:

Set goals and talk about it

A good way is to set goals. These can be athletic ones like “In the spring I participate in a marathon” or even personal ones like “I want to lose three kilos over the winter”. The more concrete the goals, the better. Anyone who talks about it with friends and family is committed to living up to their own expectations. “The goal should be so strong in the focus that the weather does not matter,” explains Atoll. It can also help to visualize your goals, for example on small notes.

Create routines

Another trick to motivation is routines. This can be a fixed calendar appointment for the gym or a running group to meet for sports. “Working out together is better in the winter: you are not alone, and it does not matter if it is floor-deep,” says personal trainer Lars Humanness from Dortmund.

Inner and outer motivation

Even small goodies can help to rise from the cozy couch. For example, a sauna after running. In this case, one speaks of extrinsic motivation. It is better, however, if one sees the activity itself as a reward. “The intrinsic motivation is the strongest we know,” says Atoll. The problem: There are no recipes. Only those who have fun and recognize a sense in the movement is really motivated from the inside out.

Look at the benefits

Sport not only keeps you fit and your body healthy – it also lifts the mood. This is particularly important in the dark season, when some are depressed and listless, says extreme athlete Peter Bathrobe. Regular exercise also strengthens the immune system in the cold season. And the cool air makes the head free in case of doubt.

Do not exaggerate

Anyone who is full of energy in the winter should still not be reckless. Because of the temperature differences inside and outside, the risk of cold is increased.

Tighten properly

If you want to do sports outdoors in winter, you need the right equipment. “Windbreakers are practical, plus functional clothing and a neck warmer that can be pulled over the chin and nose,” recommends personal trainer Lars Humanness. On the shoes, small spikes can prevent slipping. And to be recognizable in the dark, in the opinion of the expert, a headlamp and bright, reflective clothing are recommended. Incidentally, if you acquire good equipment, you can directly commit yourself to use it.

In the dark, it is best to wear reflective tapes or a reflective vest.

Choose the right workout

“Loose running training is useful,” says personal trainer Humanness. The units should be slower than in the summer. Interval training is rather inappropriate, says Peter Bathrobe. Even exercises with your own body weight are possible. “An important factor is that you do not need a lot of material,” says Humanness. Because then you overcome yourself more easily.

Seven measures to take into account when a car breaks down in a tunnel

The Local Police of La Pal-mas DE Gran Canary lists seven tips to take into account if a similar incident occurs inside a tunnel or on the road.

Last Friday, in the tunnel of the GC-23 of La Ball, a driver of a vehicle that had been damaged died. The Local Police of La Pal-mas DE Gran Canary lists seven tips to take into account if a similar incident occurs within a tunnel or on the road.

“And if it happened to you, would you know how to act in case of a breakdown inside a tunnel?” The agents affirm before launching their recommendations:

– As soon as the fault is detected, activate the emergency light and try to change the right lane.

– If you can continue the march, continue to the exit or the first emergency siding.

– If it is immobilized in a lane, turn off the engine and leave the emergency and position lights on.

– Do not leave the car unless you make sure you can do it safely.

– If you get out of the car, put on the reflective vest or reflective clothing first and place the triangle of externalization only if you are sure you can do it safely.

– If there is a pedestrian or emergency area nearby, stay there. If in doubt, stay inside the vehicle.

The news that marked the weekend

Mobilization of thousands of French against the cost of living, the Canadian prime minister criticized for his weak use of French in Singapore and Pap New Guinea, and the Parch Quebecois takes stock of the last campaign by promising to talk again about independence. A short summary of the news that marked the weekend.

The “reflective vests” are mobilized in France

Thousands of Frenchmen have donned the yellow reflective jacket they must keep in the trunk of their car to protest against the carbon tax that increases the price of fuel. Beyond this tax, however, many people in the Hexagon cannot afford the cost of living. They believe they are abandoned by the public authorities. The demonstrations, sometimes violent, made more than 400 wounded.

Trudeau criticized for his French in Asia and Oceania

Opposition parties in Ottawa clamor to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over the lack of use of the French language during Ottawa’s stay in Singapore and Pap New Guinea. The Prime Minister has multiplied statements in English only. French occupied a fair share. The APEC summit in Oceania was also marked by sharp tensions between China and the United States.

Br-exit, again and again, Br-exit

The days of Theresa May at the head of the British government may be numbered. The Conservative Prime Minister must submit her draft Br-exit agreement to Parliament. The Labor opposition has already announced that it will vote against the proposal, and members of the Conservative Party have also suggested that they may be in the wrong, which would likely result in Ms. May’s departure.

The collision of a motorcycle with BMW at UL

In WYSIWYG at UL. Saskatoon had a dangerous road accident involving a passenger car and a motorcyclist.

Experience shows that the event with the participation of a motorcyclist will be a moment of inattention, damage to the road surface, loss of concentration, sudden maneuver or overestimation of their skills. After all, the motorcycle does not have airbags or seat belts that mitigate the effects of road accidents. Motorcyclist, anticipate hazards, wear reflective clothing to be visible on the road. Such as reflective vests. Drivers of cars turn on thinking and vigilance because nice, sunny weather is a factor increasing the movement of two-wheeled vehicles on our roads. The police are appealing to you for prudence and foresight in predicting threats. All road users are obliged to think and act in accordance with legal norms.

February 18 at around 2:00 pm in WYSIWYG at UL. Saskatoon, there was a dangerous road accident involving a passenger and a motorcyclist. BMW driver, a 22-year-old resident of the Szymborska commune incorrectly performed a left turn maneuver, leading to a collision with a motorcyclist ahead of him, the 43-year-old resident of the Nikki commune. Both leaders were sober. As a result of the incident, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, everything ended up on fear and no major injuries.

– We appeal to all road users. Those traveling with two-wheedlers, as well as driving cars to comply with regulations and mutual respect on the road – appeals st. Violet Manikin from the Nazi police headquarters.

Do you know 10 principles of proper lighting?

See and be seen. This week reminds him of a preventive action of the same name, involving police and Bessie.

Proper lighting is essential for safe autumn and winter traffic on the roads. Many drivers do not care much about the headlights. Take a look at the 10 principles of proper lighting, or let you directly check and adjust the lights from the pros. During this week, it’s free in selected departments – we wrote here:

What are the principles of proper lighting? Take a look at the rules that remind action See and be seen:

1) Safe driving begins with clean glasses of cars, clean headlamps and correct glasses for the driver with clean glasses.

2) Before driving, we always check the functionality of the headlamps, not only front and directional but also end and brake. This check should be one of the regular rituals before riding.

3) We buy high quality and correct car light bulbs in the headlamps and always replace them in pair, IE if one of the bulbs stops flashing, we will automatically replace the bulb in the other headlamp.

4) Let the headlamps be regularly adjusted and checked (at least once a year, ideally before the winter season). Optimally adjusted headlamps should reach the maximum of the lights up to 40 m in front of the car. A clearly defined light cone should then concentrate light 75 to 100 m in front of the vehicle, where the driver most needs it to detect obstacles. Staying within 200 meters or more is optimal.

5) If the headlamps are equipped with a manual headlamp height controller, we will use it before every ride where we load excessively the rear of the vehicle. We will prevent unpleasant dazzling of anti-traffic vehicles or other road users. After adjusting the light load, adjust it again.

6) Always carry a spare pair of suitable light bulbs with you. A car with only one functional light can act like a motorcycle in the dark. (This rule does not apply to vehicles with xenon lamps.)

7) It is mandatory to shine while driving. However, the headlamps do not automatically illuminate for all vehicles, so check the lights before turning. Most cars with automatic daytime running lights also illuminate the lights in the front, the vehicle is illuminated at the rear. The vehicle, for example, from a rear view, for example in heavy rain, snow or fog, becomes virtually invisible!

8) Use fog lights whenever necessary. So behind fog, heavy rain or heavy snowfall. If these conditions go away, do not forget to turn them off. The light from these headlamps is too sharp under normal visibility and can cause unpleasant glare. Do not abuse these lights to provide a stronger luminous flux on the road surface. Instead of slowing the fog lights in good visibility, slow down instead.

9) Not only are cars obliged to shine, but the cyclist is also obliged to have a light on the headlight with white front light and a rear lamp with a red light or intermittent red light in low visibility. The warning flashing tail light can be seen up to 1000 meters. The car driver can see the cyclist in a timely fashion and adjust the driving speed to the situation.

10)Even pedestrians should be seen and think of their safety! The walker in dark clothing is visible to the driver only from the distance in which he can no longer react in time to avoid any collision or collision with the pedestrian. Reflective materials, reflective clothing, reflective vests, reflective tapes, and reflectors are therefore an important element of safety and can greatly increase pedestrian visibility and thus protect their health or even life.

No reflective material

An individual who caused a terrible drama because he was circulating overnight with an unsigned wagon loaded with wood that was beyond the framework of the convoy was finally sentenced to a 2-year, 10-month, and 15-day, imprisonment sentence. Donut Bhai was convicted of killing and leaving the scene of the accident, and initially, the Reticence Court had applied a conditionally suspended sentence. However, the Court of Appeal admitted the appeal of the prosecutors, so that the individual received a prison sentence, closer to the seriousness of the deed. A 40-year-old woman, the mother of a 16-year-old girl at the time of the accident, died in terrible torment because of the car wreck of her unconsciousness.

Striped in the throat of wood in the unsigned cart

The accident that led to Donut Bauhaus’s conviction was one of an extreme tragedy. On May 13, 2015, at around 21.30, on DJ 208S, in the village of Giuliani, Dorcas, Petrodollar Creator, 40, local, returned from work. She was driving a Ford Mondrian car and death came 50 feet before the woman came home.

The car hit a wagon pulled by a horse, running in the same direction, loaded with thin woods. The cargo was a lot out of the hippopotamus, so what followed seemed to be part of a horror movie. One of the longest woods penetrated through the windshield and pierced the woman’s body in the neck area.

The 40-year-old woman got out of the car on her feet, though she had a massive haemorrhage. He would soon die in a neighbor’s yard.

The traffic cops who arrived at the site only found the wagon and the horse, the carriage fleeing from the spot.

People living in the area reported that the car was struck in the wagon that was the last one in a column of Mesopotamia logs loaded with wood. These belonged to the Roma from Giuliani, who returned with wood from the woods.

The wagon and the cargo had no reflective materials to make them visible. Only a reflective vest hangs somewhere on the wood. Basically, Petrodollar Creator had no way of avoiding the tragedy, striking himself in the woods out of the wagon. The fact that the hippopotamus was not destroyed and the horse was not injured shows that the driver does not travel at high speed. But it was enough for that wood to get through the windshield and break through a vital area. If the wood had come to the shoulder, the woman would probably have survived.

The civil part of the file is re-judged

Subsequently, from the investigations of the traffic police officers, under the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Reticence Court, it resulted that Donut Bhai was the one who led the hippopotamus and fled. The cart belonged to a Roma woman from Giuliani, but later it was established that the one who led was Donut Bhai, also from Giuliani

Following the final decision of the Surcease Court of Appeal, the defendant, who was still in custody for theft during the minor period, has a total penalty of 2 years, 10 months and 15 days in prison.

Magistrates of the Surcease Court of Appeal further decided that the civil part of the case should be sent to the Fanatical Court for a retrial.

Mortal deduction in the Peaks

Policemen from the Police Station in Ozymandias, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wiesel, explain the circumstances of the accident that occurred in the town of Scuzzy. On an unlit stretch of road, a 47-year-old pedestrian was hit by personal Volvo. The pedestrian died on the spot.

The tragic event took place on Wednesday, August 22 at 21.15 on the provincial road No. 486 in the town of Scuzzy (Ozymandias commune). As it results from the preliminary findings, on a straight stretch of road, outside the built-up area, in an unlit place, a 20-year-old Volvo car driver hit a 47-year-old pedestrian on the road.

Despite attempts to resuscitate a pedestrian, the Ozymandias commune died on the spot as a result of injuries. The driver of the car was sober. The 47-year-old body and the vehicle were secured at the disposal of the prosecutor’s office. Police officers carried out a detailed inspection securing forensic traces.

Traffic policemen appeal to everyone, both drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians, to exercise particular caution and prudence. Drivers should remember to navigate the road with lights on and observe the speed limits, and when weather conditions are worse, to slow down according to the principle that slower means safer. We appeal not to charge, think or anticipate threats. It is worth to check the technical condition of the vehicle, which will answer the question of whether our vehicle is efficient and safe. A special appeal is also directed to pedestrians not to go directly in front of an oncoming vehicle. Even at the pedestrian crossing, make sure that the driver can slow down. Of course, the pedestrian takes precedence over the passage, but here the principle of limited trust is applicable.

Every pedestrian and cyclist should also remember about their safety and take care to be visible. A reflective vest, key chain, reflective tapes or even a flashlight will make it easier to see the oncoming driver when moving on a poorly lit road.

We would like to remind you that from August 31, 2014, all pedestrians who move around the dusk along the way outside the built-up area must have a reflection visible to the drivers. The lack of a reflective element is threatened by a fine. Although traffic regulations do not impose an obligation to use vests and reflective materials in the built-up area, they, to a large extent, improve visibility. They give drivers valuable time to take the right response – often saving lives and health.

Do you know what you have to do on the road to Europe?

More and more Czechs go on vacation with their own car. It means certain freedom and freedom. You can go at your pace, stop where you like, or stay overnight where you like it most. However, you should be aware of specific traffic regulations in the countries you are heading or passing through. And that’s not just about the permitted speeds and limits of alcohol in the blood, but also the mandatory equipment that may vary from country to country. So what and where do you watch out for?

  • Austria. Our southern neighbors are known to have very strict regulations and the police are mostly in their compliance uncompromising. Great emphasis is placed in Austria on reflective vests, which must not be green. The law requires only a driver, but it is good to carry it for all the passengers in the vehicle and the co-driver on the motorcycle. In particular, be careful to comply with EN 471. Austrian police are very happy to check and, if not, fine. You must always wear it when you leave the car outside the village. The rest of the equipment is identical to ours. You do not belong to the mandatory equipment as such, but take the practical advice that if your vehicle is not, you must have written confirmation in the car that you have been loaned – that is, that you are using it legally. And did you know that it is not allowed in Austria to have a camera scanning your way?
  • Slovakia. With our Eastern neighbors, mandatory equipment is not much different. Here you also have a triangle, a first-aid kit, an EN 471 certified vest, and a set winter tire. As far as lighting is concerned, it is the same as in the Czech Republic – it lights all year round, it is possible to use daytime running lights. Take care of the GPS – it should not be placed on the windscreen and must not prevent the driver from looking. Speed limits are the same in Slovakia as in our country. Vehicles powered by CNG or LPG must be labeled with the appropriate stickers.
  • Poland. In Poland too, you will not see too many differences. But there is something to be found. Not in equipment, but in the way it is used. The warning triangle has one more use here when towing the vehicle. You must have a triangle located on the left rear of the vehicle. For reduced visibility, you also have to turn on the side lights. Also keep in mind that when driving on Polish roads, you must have a fire extinguisher in your car.

Germany. Nothing happens if you forget a triangle on your way to Germany by accident. Required only for registered vehicles in Germany. Do not leave the first aid kit at home. Only the motors must be lit in the day, all the vehicles only in the tunnel.

  • Croatia. Compulsory equipment in Croatia does not differ much from ours. If you are traveling by car, it is good to get the owner’s permission on the way. But be careful, N category vehicles have a mandatory extinguisher!
  • Italy. As in Austria, you must also have a car rental confirmation in Italy if you do not go by your car. The mandatory equipment includes a vest with reflective tapes for each passenger in the car (orange) or a warning triangle. All cars must then be lit all year round, but only outside the built-up areas.
