This innovative solution is the Volvo Life Paint, a fluorescent spray that can be sprayed onto any surface – bicycle frame, tire, and helmet or just for clothes. At night, the material covered by the paint reflects the car’s headlights. The reflective force is the same as the standard vests, so the probability of the biker being so clearly visible decreases drastically. The innovative product was created to increase the protection of bikers, but it will also improve the visibility of pedestrians.
Volvo Life Paint is now a promotional action (cans are distributed free of charge in London bike stores), but the Swedish brand does not rule out the introduction of fluorescent paint spray into its salons.
