They get sneak in several places thanks to a reflective vest

Two young Australians have managed to sneak into the cinema, at the zoo and at a Coldplay concert, thanks to a reflective safety vest and a walkie-talkie.

Dave Allegretto and Sean Foster are two young people from Melbourne (Australia) who, after a night of partying, decided to put into practice the idea they had been planning. The goal was to try to enter free of charge in emblematic places of his city, simply wearing a reflective yellow vest and a walkie-talkie.

They told their story through Instagram, they explained that at all times they were afraid to be discovered but Dave and Sean managed to sneak into a movie theater, at the zoo and something they had never imagined … they went free to the Coldplay concert!

These young Australians managed to go unnoticed at all security checkpoints by wearing only a reflective vest and a walkie-talkie.

Volunteer in yellow vest growth at neighborhood prevention

Nowadays you see it everywhere, signs with neighborhood prevention, or neighborhood group to deter potential ‘gear’. The volunteers of neighborhood prevention in yellow vest, together with the local community police officers and BOA’s held a walking tour through the village on Tuesday evening.

A group of about ten people gathers in the Lantern. All of them can be recognized from afar by their clothing, reflective vests with neighborhood prevention on them and blue uniforms with large white letters that spell HANDAVING. Only the local police officers are dressed in civilian clothes, but that also makes them stand out more quickly.

Neighborhood prevention

The evening is dedicated to neighborhood prevention, to bring residents and to inform them about safety in the neighborhood. Only the heat and problems with the ‘advertising’ ensure that no one comes to mind. However, those present did not get out of the way and the evening turns into an extra training for the neighborhood prevention members.

The two community police officers in safety vest, Fred van Postal and Johan Damen, supervise the group. In every possible situation, an explanation is given about what can happen or how they would act. For example, the group stops a few times at a car where the window is open or an easy access a burglar can use. Yet Perry Sep, coordinator of the volunteer group, had hoped for more participants. It is just very important for the neighborhood and we would have liked to see more ‘potential members”, says Sep. The group now consists of 26 volunteers, all help is welcome and we can use it well. ”

The local police and the BOAs would also like to have seen more people. According to them, neighborhood prevention has become almost indispensable. ,, They are extra eyes in the field, ” said the local boarder. “We, the local police and I, are only three of us. It is impossible to keep an eye on everything. Those extra eyes are then just very important for our work. ”

Johan, community agent Snit, noticed how important this aid could be, shortly after setting up the group. “Less than 24 hours after the group app was in the air, someone had reported a pencil vendor in the area. 20 minutes later the conscious man was sitting in the van in the direction of the desk”, says Damien. So you see how important a neighborhood prevention can be, that is great!” That is mainly the task of neighborhood prevention. That is also the reason why I do this, you do something about it ”, says Marian in reflective clothing. “Everyone complains about everything, or they sometimes see what happens. However, it often stops there. You can also choose to do something with it.

Of all neighborhood prevention groups in the municipality of Ruche, that of Snit is the youngest of the couple. It started as a very small club of five or six men. It took more than a year before it slowly grew, “says the coordinator of the group. However, it is still difficult to recruit new members in the village.” According to the group, you should not make it bigger than it is. We only signal and help to make the neighborhood a little safer, but we are not scapegoats.”

Street art works stolen by fake municipal agents

The City of Paris will file a lawsuit against X for usurpation of function and damage to the image of the city against a group of thieves who is currently attacking frescoes of street art in the streets of the capital. They pretend to be municipal agents with wearing reflective vest.

The City of Paris has decided to file a complaint against X for usurpation of function and damage to the image of the city against a group of thieves who is currently attacking frescoes of street art in the streets of the capital city. These frescoes called “invader,” the name of the artist who poses them, are now part of the Parisian heritage. These are small critters made from mosaic tiles or tiles. Crossed in the corners, at the corner of the boulevards and avenues or hidden in the alleys, they are multicolored or in black and white.

In yellow vest, equipped with a ladder

While the artist Invader is a regular at discretion – he lays his frescoes at night and often masked – the thieves currently raging do not take as much precaution. They act in daylight, with a fluorescent yellow vest on the back, at the top of a ladder, with orange pads around the stage, to give the impression that a technical intervention is underway. Moreover, for good reason, they do not hesitate to explain to who wants them to intervene on behalf of the city hall of Paris.

Reflective vests and safety features equipped for schoolchildren

For the ninth time, full-round containers from the Gambia travel from Ostrava. Together with them, Africa has a large number of spare parts, including reflective vests and safety features for schoolchildren, as there is no rule in the country.

People from the Kola for Africa are heading to the black continent as well. Bicycles submitted will then sort out and hand over selected Gambian schools. He also instructs on-site mechanics to hand over service tools. Three employees and volunteers were gathered while loading two containers. “They were people from the Bicycles for Africa, Moment – a charity second hand and New Chance, where we live and where people are helped by the punishment. The Ostrava Educational Institute and two players of the women’s floor ball team helped us,” coordinator Radar specified.

He handled a snake by hand. “One by one, the wheels have to come out of the room full of up the stairs through the stairs into the container and put the wheels next to each other. In addition, 100 banana boxes of spare parts had to be used. Even in frosty weather we did it in four hours,” Radar said. “From here, we are already transporting to our warehouse in Gambia, where they are divided into Gambian schools. 100 pieces for each. Containers sail thirty-three days we pick them up personally in the harbor. In the month after the containers are dispatched, we are talking about a mission to the Gambia. They pick up bicycles, store, categorize, train the school management and school mechanics, and hand them over. Let us go in May, “the coordinator in reflective clothing said.

The stories of the bikes and their donors sometimes shoot

Wheels in the organization are received from anonymous donors. They can hand them over to collection points, which are about five dozen across the country. “The most active is probably the southern Moravia, then large disposable collections, last year in Pilsner and Liberec Zoo. Ostrava is average in number of rounds. For some donors we also know the story of the round. They sent us a bike from Little Lose nice in the Highlands, which were donated by a young aunt, who built it in 2013, was driving for a while, but died in a car accident. If we know the story, we try to watch and photograph the donor while loading, “she said.

Wheels repair convictions in Prison. “This is a prison program, prisoners are repaired voluntarily, and it’s the way to fix them for zero costs and often smart hands. We must have technical supervision in the prison so that the wheels meet what we expect from them, they have to get fit, adjust, lubricate, equip new souls, mantle and remodel, without derailleur they have a longer life and Gambia is everywhere,” Radar explained.

Wheels for Africa are a matter of cooperation between a number of donors and volunteers in yellow vest. “We cannot get around without logistics, transport partners and the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic is helping us a lot. Without them, we would not get wheels from the collection points to the warehouse in Ostrava, from the warehouse to the prison and back. We do not even have a van, let alone a truck. We provide this service for free,” Radar said.

War between taxi drivers at the airport

Taxi drivers from the corporation that operates the airport declared war on the non-attached. They defended by reflective vests with the “recommendation” of the airport.

Taxi Corporation City plus Neptune Taxi for ten years leases from the airport two of three coves for taxis, including one adjacent to the terminal. The third, one hundred meters away from it is intended for taxi drivers of other corporations and so-called non-members. In addition, everything would be okay, if not for years of conflict between affiliated and non-attached taxi drivers.

The conflict between taxi drivers has been growing for years, but escalated when the number of taxi drivers outside the corporation began to grow rapidly. In addition, the number of customers is using City plus Neptune to decrease.

– During the day, approximately 100 to 140 of our taxis arrive to the terminal. When there were six, maybe seven, few years ago, there were no problems. Now there are more than 20 of them, and the methods they use to get customers are as much controversial as they are effective. We must sometimes stand for a few hours to enter the first place, and they enter the hall and accost people – says Wildman in yellow vest, one of the corporate taxi drivers.

“Methods” means a first soliciting customer at the terminal, which is theoretically forbidden at the airport. – In addition, there are insults, punishments, such as threatening to burn a car. Whenever this happens, our taxi drivers make reports. I have more and more of them. In the end, they will go to the police – says lesser, president of the CNP. That is why a week ago, “official” taxi drivers have put on a vest with information that they are a corporation recommended by the airport.

In addition, we have allowed them to enter the terminal area, where they are visible to passengers. The terminal has plates with information in Polish, English and German, that it is a trustworthy and recommended by us company. I think that we are on the right track to resolve this conflict – says Mare Karaka, head of the terminal. We were unable to contact any of the taxi drivers in reflective uniform outside the corporation, although we waited for them about an hour and a half.

Reflective vest with logos for nurse’s work safety

The Punta de Europe Hospital in Algeciras has initiated a pilot experience with which it seeks to improve safety in the preparation and administration of medication. Wear a safety vest with logo when they are working. The initiative has emerged within the Commission on Patient Safety of the Sanitary Management Area of Campo de Gibraltar and aims to prevent nursing staff from suffering interruptions while performing tasks related to drugs.

According to the Board in a note, numerous scientific studies claim that the frequency of interruptions during the administration of drugs is associated with a higher incidence of errors.

In daily practice, some of these interruptions can be the alarm of a nutrition pump. A relative asking about the health of a patient or doubts a partner; that is to say, a series of factors that cut the nurse’s task of preparation and administration and cause that when performing two tasks at the same time increases the risk of committing errors in that nursing intervention.

For this reason, within the Patient Safety Plan of the Sanitary Management Area of the Campo de Gibraltar and more specifically in line with a safe administration of medicines, a physical barrier will be placed to mitigate interruptions in the administration process and with it to diminish the errors in the medication.

Thus, from this week, the nurses of the fourth floor of hospitalization of Internal Medicine and Grammatology will wear reflective vests while they are preparing medication, with a logo on their back in which you can read ‘Do not interrupt me. I am preparing medication.

The objective is that when the health personnel themselves, well patients and family members, identify a professional with said yellow vest, do not interrupt them, in the case of not being able to wait until the end, look for another professional of the plant that attends them. To do this, explanatory posters will be placed on the plant and information about the initiative will be offered, requesting collaboration to be carried out successfully. The practice intended to be extended to the rest of the center in the coming months, once its impact has been assessed.

Cyclist denounces motorcyclist harassment

The citizen Giuliani Cantor denounced that she was a victim of street harassment when she was on board her bicycle with yellow vest going to the Asunción waterfront to train. The woman has been cycling for four years for health reasons and it is the first time that she has experienced such a thing.

In a conversation with R800 AM, he explained that he was on Mexico Street and Av. Maris Lopez, on the afternoon of last Friday, when a motorcyclist went ahead and took advantage of him to disrespect him. “He gave me a spanking and he slit on a motorbike, when he left he turned around and smiled at me as if mocking what he did. He can have a mother, a daughter and friends, “he said.

The man aboard the bicycle had a helmet and reflective vest, but the vehicle did not have the sheet, so his identity is unknown. The woman regretted that the National Police does not comply with its work to prevent it from circulating without the respective documents.

He continued telling that he was terrified when he received the spanking, because, with the speed in which the motorcyclist was going, it was a very strong blow. “I never touched something similar; I sat crying in the street. Of course, nobody came to ask me what was wrong, nor did any driver decided to follow the person, “he lamented.

In this sense, he went on to say that, many times the citizenry is very indifferent to robberies that take place on public roads, whether a woman or a man is the victim. “Come as something normal or maybe they think ‘better not get into this’. People are very indifferent,” he criticized.

When she made her case known, she received numerous samples of support and advice, such as that she should be accompanied to train, for example. “They tell me not to go out alone, but I must have the freedom to leave. Many are very afraid of going out alone; we have to go out as for the war. Many girls even stopped pedaling because similar things happened to them. Our irresponsibility as women is that we often keep quiet, so I urge you not to shut up what is violence, “he said.

Lastly, the police in safety uniform clarified that in making his case known, he does not wish to sow fear or divisions, but rather to find a solution to the problem. “I do not enter into feminism or machismo. What you have to do is talk about these cases, so that society is not in different. I am sure that not everyone is like this man, “he said.

The young elected ones invite you to “Dare the Yellow”

The Municipal Youth Council of Challis has chosen to focus on humor for its road safety campaign. And to encourage cyclists to wear a yellow safety vest, they made an unusual video!

The slogan could appear in a sketch of the Knights of File, but it is actually out of the imagination of the elected Municipal Council of Youth in the city of Challis. As part of their work on road safety, they decided to conduct a prevention campaign on the risks associated with bicycle travel. Starting from the observation that the wearing of the yellow vest is often considered “nerdy”, they decided to play the card of humor, by making a video around a message as simple as effective: the yellow vest, it is in fashion! After having built their screenplay, they shot their clip in one day, calling on Milo, a hollandaise teenager passionate about theater. And the result is, to say the least, striking…

The campaign also comes in the form of posters, on which we find sporting hollandaise: the motocross rider Thierry Bathes, the basketball player Antoine Audit, or the professional cyclist Arnold Jenison who has always dreamed of wearing … the yellow jersey!

Reflective vest requirement on board for motorcycle

Anyone who wanted to take a ride on the French roads riding a motorcycle, a scooter with three wheels or a quad, will be obliged to acquire the yellow safety vest to wear when stopped on the roadway. For offenders the fine ranges from a minimum of 11 to a maximum of 135 €.

Always keep on board…

With the new year, in France, it has taken a new “rule” that has already made up their noses at many motorcyclists from across the Alps: as announced earlier this year by the Government, to improve visibility on road and thus ensure greater security, as of January 1, 2016 the French biker – and for bikers we also mean the three-wheeled scooter owners or “light quadricycle fitted with fairing” – will in fact have an obligation to have on board a fluorescent yellow vest with reflective strips.

II offenders, specifies the decree, they will be punished by a fine of from 11 to 135 Euros, the same penalty provided for motorists who have none.

Despite the advice of the French Federation of Motorcyclists in Anger (FFMC), convinced that the use of the vest should be regarded as a personal choice, the law came into force: Beware therefore, if you happen to go to France during the next motorcycle trip, be sure to bring your reflective vest!
